Patients with temporomandibular disease are sometimes are asymptomatic, and starts complaining immediately after the dental treatment and become symptomatic because of Occlusal awareness. We come across patients with fractured crown, fractured teeth, attrition, abfractions, painful TMJ, clicking joints, loosening of abutment screw of implants, bone loss around implants, regular dislodgement of crown and bridges etc. To save patient from these complication and embarrassment to clinician, one must understand the clinical evaluation, diagnostic methods and management protocols for occlusal forces.
